Best Season

Winter (December to April) is the best season for skiing and snowboarding, while summer (June to October) is ideal for trekking and observing alpine plants. July to August is especially the most beautiful time for alpine plants.

Access Information

Approximately 30 minutes by bus from Nagano Dentetsu Yudanaka Station.
Access to various areas of Shiga Kogen is available by route bus or rental car.
Shuttle buses connecting ski resorts also operate during the winter season.
